PRO: Creating Clones/Seeds (OK) (METRC)

Creating New Immature Plant Batches from Mother Plants (OK)

Use this guide to create new batches of clones or seeds from a Mother plant in Grow > Plants.

As of 9/19/2024, Immature Plants (Clones) are required to be associated with an Immature Plant package tag. Please keep in mind, this workflow will remain mostly the same, however, you'll be assigning a Plant Tag (instead of a 'Group Name') when creating the new immature plants from a Mother plant. You can click here to be directed to the Metrc Bulleting regarding this feature update.
  1. Navigate to Grow > Plants and select the Mother plant you wish to create clones/seeds from.
If the plant has not been made a "Mother" yet, select the plant and then select "Make Mother" from Grow > Plants as seen in the screenshot below
  1. Once the Mother plant has been selected, select "New Plant".
  1. Enter the number of Clones/Seeds you wish to create, select the Create Option "Immature Plants", select a Room, and select the Traceability Tag for the new batch of clones/seeds. Then, select "Create".
  2. The new batch of Immature Plants will then be found on the Grow > Immature Plants tab. Next, select 'Move to Inventory' (this will allow you to assign a Package Tag to the batch of Immature Plants as it is now required in OK).
  3. Select the intended Product, select the intended Traceability Tag, enter the # of plants you wish to move, select the Room, and then select 'Move to Inventory'.
  4. The new package of Immature Plants can be found under Inventory Management > Batches. If the Immature Plants Batch/Package is made "Available" on the Batches page, you will also see those listed on the Grow > Grow Sources page.
  5. Please click here to learn more about creating Immature Plants from Grow Sources.
