POS - OMMA: Adding Packaging and Testing Dates to Your Oklahoma Labels (Effective June 1, 2025)

New labeling requirements from the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) are going into effect on June 1, 2025. This means that all medical marijuana and medical marijuana products sold by dispensaries will need to display the packaging date and the testing date on their labels.

Cultivera POS has been updated to help you comply with these regulations. The packaging and testing dates are already being pulled from the relevant METRC fields and can be found in your Cultivera Back Office within the product's Batch Details under Add QA Results.

Please make these updates to your label templates as soon as possible to ensure you are compliant with OMMA regulations by June 1, 2025.

Here's how to add these dates to your product labels:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Label/Document in your Back Office.
  2. Select the green label name link you wish to edit.
  3. Click the "Edit" button.
  4. Under the "Available Fields" section, you will see options for "Packaged Date" and "Tested Date". Select the checkboxes next to both of these fields. This will ensure these dates are included on your printed labels. Click "Update" to save your changes.
