Inventory Management: Batches Overview

Inventory batches reflect the physical inventory that is on hand at your facility. This could be a combination of bulk flower lots, hydrocarbon concentrate, packaged flower, edibles, etc.

To view your inventory batches, navigate to Inventory Management > Batches.

Locked Batches

A locked batch indicates that all units of the batch are allocated either to an Order or a Production Run. These are hidden by default but can be viewed by unchecking the "Hide Locked Batches" checkbox.

Depleted Inventories

Depleted Inventories can be accessed from a link at the upper-right corner of the screen where all "0" quantity packages can be found.

Batch Filters

The filter buttons on the toolbar can be used to show or hide batches by their availability (see below).

You can also filter by entering a matching search criteria in one of the filter boxes at the top of the screen. These will allow you to filter by product name, barcode, location/license, or room.

Barcode

The Cultivera barcodes you will see in your system are 17 numeric characters and follow a format to ensure uniqueness industry-wide (required by CCRS).

The Cultivera barcode format is:
First 4 characters: The first 4 characters are a unique location ID for each licensed location in Cultivera. These 4 characters will always be the same for any ID that is generated at each specific licensed location.

Next 8 characters: This is similar to a timestamp, but not human-readable. This will allow you to always sort this new format of IDs from newest->oldest or oldest->newest generated IDs.

Last 5 characters: Randomly generated
Product Name

This description comes from the Product Name listed in Inventory Management > Manage Menu. You can use the "Filter Products" field at the top of the screen to search by any part of a product name.

Room

Batch Date

The date the production batch or harvest batch was created in the system.

Shows QA results that have been entered in Cultivera Pro.

You can click on the barcode of a Batch to view the Batch Details page which details the QA Parent assigned to the batch. This page also details the Direct Parent(s), Child Batches, QA Samples, Allocations, and Adjustments.
Units for Sale

Units for Sale reflect the total number of units that have been made 'Available' for the batch under Inventory Management > Batches.

Units On Hold

Units On Hold reflects the number of units that have been placed on hold and are unavailable to sell. Holds can be placed by clicking on that field directly for the given batch or by right-clicking a Batch and choosing Hold Inventory By % as pictured below.

Units Allocated

Units Allocated reflects the number of units that have been allocated to sales orders or production runs. The numbers here appear as links that can be clicked on to see additional allocation information such as the order number or production run.

Units In Stock

Units in Stock reflects the total number of units, including your inventory plus your allocated units. This number should match the "Units for Sale" on the Manage Menu screen once all allocations have been released and/or finalized.

Please note that the Units in Stock and Units for Sale will only match if all Batches are made available.
